Requirement
Environment
Indoors
Temperature
0–45 °C (machine 0–40 °C). Cold stores need a custom build: the battery works at −20 °C but must not be charged at that temperature, so charging takes place outside the cold store
Humidity
5–95%, non-condensing (machine 10–90% RH)
Air
Free of dust and flammable, explosive or corrosive gas
ESD
Dissipative flooring; 10⁶–10⁹ Ω where ESD-sensitive
Altitude, light, noise
0–2,000 m; ambient light below 6,000 lx with no direct sun; machine noise ≤75 dBA
Flatness
≤2 mm per 2 m² at docking points, ≤5 mm per 2 m² elsewhere
Slope and gaps
Slope within 5% (about 3°), and 3% for fully loaded forklifts; gaps, steps and gratings checked one by one on site; no trench where the machine parks. Parking robot: steps up to 5 mm, gaps under 10 mm, height difference up to 10 mm per square metre, slopes up to 4.3% unloaded and 3% loaded
Friction and load
Friction ≥0.5 on a dry, oil-free floor; load capacity ≥1,000 kg/m², more for heavy models
Floor hardness
Epoxy and ESD floors: Shore hardness ≥75D, abrasion (750 g / 500 r) ≤0.060 g
These are reference values for standard models; each project is confirmed against the technical agreement and the site conditions and technical requirements form. The floor must be free of oil and standing water, which make the wheels slip. Mirrored, transparent and black surfaces interfere with obstacle detection: watch for glass doors and walls, unguarded floor openings, cables and hoses on the floor, and large reflective objects. Open grating, hollow raised floors, short ramps and wide lift-door gaps usually need modification.
