Deployment and operation
Daily checks and follow-up
Daily check
Before start-up each day, operators check nine items: server, communication, positioning, bumpers, emergency stops, obstacle stop, touch screen, indicator lights and speaker. If the emergency stop, bumpers or obstacle stop fail, the robot stays out of service.
Monthly, quarterly and annual
Carried out item by item according to the maintenance schedule provided at delivery: each month, clean the sensors and body and fully charge and discharge the battery; quarterly maintenance covers 44 items and annual maintenance 55, each with its record sheet. The focus is cleaning sensors, lubricating moving parts and checking safety functions.
Machine record
One file per machine: build and commissioning dates, serial number, cumulative mileage and cycles, parts replaced, servicing, faults and firmware version. It is the main basis for deciding whether to replace a part, and comparing machines exposes the odd one out. The system also tracks wheel wear mileage, battery health and lifting counts and alerts you as replacement approaches.
Site rules
Aisle management (running lanes, waiting, docking and charging positions kept clear), carrier management (deformed carriers retired promptly), QR code inspection, training and authorisation, honest exception reporting rather than restarting to hide a fault, and servicing on schedule.
After acceptance
The complete machine has a 12-month warranty from the date of receipt. Logs from the robot and the dispatch system can be exported, so most problems can be located remotely; where a site visit is needed, our after-sales team sends an engineer. Common wearing parts are kept in stock.
