Charging and scheduling
Docking and installation
V-shaped dock
Used by underride models. Charging starts once the robot reaches the position, touches the floating contact and the battery voltage is detected.
Side-retracting dock
Used by forklifts. The mechanism extends sideways to a socket on the vehicle flank; it tolerates a wider parking angle than a V dock, which suits longer bodies.
Charging time
Small models charge fully within an hour and a half, medium and large models within two hours; the 1-tonne lifting series supports fast charging, where 10 minutes gives an hour of running and 60 minutes reaches 70%. The parking robot takes 2 to 3 hours with fast charging and 4 to 5 hours with standard charging.
Installation
A dedicated 220 V circuit with a sound earth; a 100 A charger needs more supply capacity, so confirm it before installation; at least one and a half body lengths clear in front; never on the main aisle; and the floor at the charger finished to docking-area standard, since flatness decides docking success.
Safety
Never charge through the automatic and manual ports at once. The chargers have multiple protections, including against overcurrent, overvoltage and current leakage, support both automatic and manual charging, and have a forced activation function. For manual charging, use only chargers supplied or approved by Jiangsong.
